To purchaser of Micks Mix #1: Thank you for buying a copy of Micks Mix from the PD collection. I hope you learn a lot from the programs on this disk or if you know it all about Amos, I hope you think they are of good standards. On this disk: Deathwish.AMOS : A demo using reasonably good graphics and cool bouncing effects. Feel free to rip anything out of it (Incl. Bobs music (Which I ripped), pictures etc etc) DeathwishII.AMOS : This is the second demo in the Deathwish line of demos. In this one, I used little battletech looking droids walking along the screen with lots of easy to follow code. Up the top of the output screen there is a 320*768 lowres screen (Partly covered up by the fore- ground picture) and it scrolls upward with text. I used Dpaint III to draw the screens. Fire!_Game.AMOS : Well, in this game I have a little psycho looking bloke holding an M-16 (And he's the good guy!). You can move him around left to right and fire at the enemy. Even though I wrote this game, i can't complete the game myself! Level 1 seems easy enough, it can even get boring, but when you get to level 2, thats when you have to wake up and start playing. Apart from moving at 160 pixels a second (Maybe faster) the enemy jump, making it very hard to hit them. Midlife.AMOS : Well (again), I started this game in August of 1992. I have not finished programming it yet but there are still some good examples of tasks in the actual code. If you want to finish it for me, ring me on (06)2547790 and I will discuss with you the possibilities of the finished product. If it was finished, It wouldn't be half bad. Also in the directory "Micks_Mix:Compiled/", I have two executable versions of the Deathwish Demos. Load them up through the CLI (or SHELL) or by the workbench. *REMEMBER!* You cannot load them up from the Micks Mix disk, you must first copy them to your Amos disk or boot your Amos, break in the CLI and insert Micks Mix and load them up that way (Obeying all requestors). * REMEMBER * Midlife.AMOS will only run if you have the Music Extension v1.54. So I have put it in the Amos system drawer on the disk for you. Just delete your existing one and copy this new one over. See ya in the next Micks Mix...........
