65 ARCHIVIST --------- HELP: All help is given in the program itself, just load up Archivist and press on either PAL or NSTC version. The only difference between the two versions is the screen height and that NSTC users get to see less than PAL viewers. If I get enough response from Archivist users, then another possibility I've been thinking about is a small word processor written in AMOS Basic. Write to me if you would be interested. (But it may not be for a year or eighteen months yet) Credits: Thanks go to Mandarin/Jawx for marketing AMOS and especially to AMOS'S creator Francois Lionet for writing AMOS and to my maths teacher who started me on this project. Bugs: I've tried to keep this program bug free but, during the programming of Archivist, I found two bugs. One bug is on the main title screen. If you chose too many things at one sitting using Archivist then the program runs out of stack space and may crash, so don't use it too many times at once. The other bug I found was in the DIRectory commamd, If you inputted a device or drive or volume that wasn't available to Archivist, then you used to get a requester which you could CANCEL using the mouse. But I added a command to hide the mouse cursor and now you can't cancel it (ahem!). If you find any more bugs or have any ideas on Archivist then write to me at: Steven Harrison 62 Vyner street Haxby Road York YORKSHIRE ENGLAND Y03 7HS or to Steven Harrison Clifton House (5th Year) St Peters School Bootham York YORKSHIRE ENGLAND Y03 6AB For a small fee, I might also send updates of Archivist, and any other things I write using AMOS Thanks Steven ARCHIVIST (C) 1990 Steven Harrison AMOS (C) 1990 Mandarin/Jawx
