About the Oepir Risti 8 Music
---------------------------------------------------------------
An Introduction by MITTAG-LEFFLER / NOSEBLEED

The piece you are listening to right now is called Floating
and it consists of four individual parts carefully woven
together to form a atmospherical unity.

It starts off with some serious chords together with a quite
monotonous drum-line. Soon, a futuristic lead join in and
make the situation a bit more mysterious and anticipating.
The harmonies are then accompanied by a bass riff adding a
relaxing feeling to the overall appearance.

The next part is somewhat abruptly introduced, but the bass and
drums are the same, which make the listner more comfortable.
Some underwater chords and the violin hit add even more to the
already misty reign.

The third part has a more happy and prosperous touch to the
overall feeling in that it uses a little bit jazzier style.
Still, the drums are the same keeping the piece together.
Notice the latter sequences with the message of being free
from anxieties.

The last part, which re-establishes the ambience of the
beginning, talks about complete freedom of the mind. As
suggested by the title, the listner ought to be calm and
relaxed sitting in his chair reading Oepir Risti.

Some instruments were borrowed from the following musicians:

Delorean
Strobo
Nemobreaker
Jogeir Liljedahl
Marillion
Clawz

I am greatful for the samples as I don't own a synth myself.
Floating was composed using HeartTracker (Protracker2.3) the
best music program there is.

If you want to reach me, you can try to mail

S.Duvan at d95duvan@dtek.chalmers.se with Mittag-Leffler
as subject. He will forward the message to me within
reasonable time.

I took this text from the CRM! packed textfile, which obviously
offers how Mittag-Leffler persanally feel about this stunning
piece of music. I had to cut away some garbage, and decrease
the width of this document. You are all used to scrolling
downards in a textfile (at least while you're reading/editing
it!) but i disabled the sidewards scrolling that otherwise
would had been inevitable.

And don't you believe for even a nanosecond that this module
was hard to rip. The Oepir Risti-crewmembers, or perhaps their
mothers, were kind enough to put this future composer-module
as an extern datafile named "P61.Floating", which the little
smurf inside me quickly loaded into Pro-Wizard's (by Gryzor)
loving and tender dismemberment care.

"Who are you?", i heard one of you lads whisper, as you
approached this document in awe, rising from your comfortable
sofa infront of your zx-81. Well, i'm not known as Nemesis1,
nor as Gryzor or.. what's his name now again..? Timo ..
something.

If you would like to swap nice modules, perhaps discuss the
need of Coca-Cola or New Order, or just mellow out on da
junglistic waves (too much Mono there, i guess), you could
cuntact me at the following adress:

not to stay there for very long though.
