Chaos Engine 2 is one of the most awaited games for Amiga, it should has been released in September 1995, but month after month here we are in February 1997 (1 year and half later).
But is Chaos Engine 2 at least a good game? Yes it is, and if you wait a moment I will tell you the reasons that let me think it's one of the best arcade-adventure ever on Amiga (and maybe not only for our comp.).
Firstly the graphical aspect has been improved with a lot of colour, more animation frames, and the split screen. Then sound has been improved with a larger number of sfx. But the
biggest improvement has been done on gameplay, infact in Chaos Engine 2 you'll have to fight (and not co-operate like in Chaos Engine) versus the other character in order to achieve the mission the Baron give you at the beginning of the level
and to reach the exit before your opponent. Player 2 can be controlled by the computer or by your friend, and in this way (i.e. a 2 human players game) Chaos Engine 2 is one of the most entertainig games
I've ever played. Chaos Engine 2 is a fantastic game with a superb playability, it's avaible for both ECS and AGA systems so you have no excuses to not buy it. HIGLY recommended!!!

Chaos Engine 2 è uno tra i giochi attesi più a lungo della storia di Amiga, avrebbe dovuto essere pubblicato nel Settembre del 1995, ma mese dopo mese eccoci ginti sino al Febbraio del 1997 (1 anno e mezzo dopo).
Ma stò Chaos Engine 2 è almeno un bel gioco? Si lo è, e se avrete un momento di pazienza vi spiegherò quali siano le ragioni che inducono a pensare che ci troviamo di fronte a uno tra i mogliori arcade-adventure per Amiga (e non solo).
Prima di tutto l'aspetto grafico è stato migliorato con un sacco di colori, più frames di animazione, e lo split screen. Il sonoro poi è stato arricchito con un sacco di nuovi effetti sonori. Ma il più grande miglioramento riguarda
lo schema di gioco, infatti in Chaos Engine 2 si deve cembattere (e non cooperare come in Chaos Engine) contro l'altro personaggio per portare a termine la missione che ci viene impartita dal Barone all'inizio di ogni livello
e per raggiungere l'uscita prima dell'avversario. Il secondo giocatore può essere controllato sia dal computer che da un vostro amico, e in questo caso (cioè con due giocatori umani) Chaos Engine 2 diventa uno tra i giochi più divertenti
che io abbia mai giocato. Chaos Engine 2 è un gioco fantastico con una giocabilità eccezionale, è disponibile sia per ECS che AGA quindi non ci sono scuse per non correre a comprarlo. ALTAMENTE raccomandato!!!
