Amiga is the best multimedia machine but since now was difficult to add a CD-Rom, but now an ATAPI CD is
quite cheap and can be connected to an A600 A1200 or A4000 via the built-in IDE controller. It's natural that a
lot of software house will release CD-Rom games. Apart Fightin' Spirit and Black Viper from NEO never reviewed in their CD version but avaible from this summer and
Pinball Prelude CD and Kang Fu reviewed this month and the
games from Effigy ( look at the News section ) other software house will release CD games during 1997, Zentek has announced an
enhanced version of Nemac IV ( reviewed in number 1, 89% ) with movie clips and a lot of audio tracks, also Trapped the
great RPG reviewed this month will be avaible on CD with a longer intro and audio tracks, and also Teen Agent ( previewed this month )
and Hellpigs ( previewed last month ) will be published in a CD version with full speech. There are also some game that will be released
only in the CD format, first of all Wendetta the german shoot'em up we told you in last month news, will include a large number of animations,
and audio tracks. A very interesting title is Haunted a 7th Guest-like FMV adventure game with an incredible graphic will be released at the beginning of '97.
Finally from USA will come the FMV game Final Gate of wich we haven't more news. Probably there will be also a CD version of the fantastic WORMS : TDC at
the beginning of 1997. At the moment the Amiga CD-Rom games market is having a boom so expect more title in the near future. So if you don' t have a CD-Rom drive run to
your local dealer and buy one for your A1200/4000 ( I forgot that these games will be avaible only for AGA Amiga ) you won't regret.

Amiga è sempre stato il miglior computer multimediale ma finora era difficile aggiungere un CD-Rom, ma adesso un CD ATAPI è
abbastanza economico e può essere connesso a un A600 A1200 o A4000 via il controller IDE interno. E' naturale che molte
software house pubblichino giochi su CD-Rom. Oltre a Fightin' Spirit e Black Viper dalla NEO mai recensiti nella loro versione CD ma disponibili da questa estate e a Pinball Prelude CD e Kang Fu recensiti questo mese e ai giochi
della Effigy ( li trovi nelle Novità ) altre software house pubblicheranno giochi su CD durante il 1997, la Zentek ha annunciato una versione
migliorata di Nemac IV ( recensito sul numero 1, 89% ) con filmati e un sacco di tracce audio, anche Trapped il
grande RPG recensito questo mese sarà disponibile su CD con una introduzione più lunga e tracce audio, e anche Teen Agent ( Anticipato questo mese )
e Hellpigs ( Anticipato il mese scorso ) saranno distribuiti in una versione CD con il parlato digitalizzato al posto dei dialoghi testuali. Ci sono anche alcuni giochi che saranno disponibili
solo su CD, primo fra tutti Wendetta lo shoot'em up tedesco di cui vi abbiamo parlato nelle news del mese scorso, che includerà un gran numero di animazioni,
e tracce audio. Un titolo molto interessante è Haunted un gioco simile a The 7th Guest con scene in Full motion Video che accompagnano l'avventura, tutto condito da una grafica incredibile, sarà pubblicato all' inizio del '97.
Per ultimo abbiamo Final Gate un gioco in Full Motion Video proveniente dall' America di cui non abbiamo altre notizie. Probabilmente ci sarà anche una versione CD del fantastico WORMS : TDC all' inizio del
1997. Al momento il mercato dei giochi su CD-Rom per Amiga sta avendo un boom quindi aspettatevi molti altri titoli nel prossimo futuro.
In definitiva se ancora non hai un lettore CD per il tuo A1200/4000 ( ho dimenticato di dire che questi giochi saranno solo per Amiga AGA ) corri a comprarne uno non te ne pentirai.
