ACES - Analog Computer Emulator System Version 1.1

ACES is a program, designed for the AMIGA, to emulate the operation
of an analog computer system. ACES permits solving small systems of
differential equations commonly found in the engineering and scientific
disciplines. ACES uses a simple block-oriented language to implement the
system equations in analog format. There is a one-to-one correspondence
between the instantaneous values of the mathematical equations and the
output of the implemented analog element blocks. ACES is only an emulator
and does not really solve all system equations in parallel but comes
very close to emulating a parallel analog system in continuous time.

ACES features an analog-style control panel, a simulated X-Y plotter, and an on-screen data editor. Good quality plotted output can be
obtained by exporting the plot data to several good external plotting
programs. ACES is designed to execute on any Amiga with 500K or more
memory and AmigaDos Version 1.3, or greater, operating system.

The Make_Assigns_First file *must* be edited before you can use the
program. Change the DRAWER_LOCATION entry to be where the Analog_Emulator
is to reside ie: Df0:, Empty:, Dh0:Myprograms or where ever. Copy (drag)
the emulator drawer to that location. Click on Make_Assigns_First before
running anything in the drawer. Please read the docs before trying to run
the program.

Documentation necessary to run the emulator and several simple
examples are included with the distribution. Complete documentation,
including hard copy, will be available soon. Registration and a small
fee will be required to obtain further documentation and program updates
as they become available. (See screen, in program, for details).

ACES is freely distributable as Giftware. All rights, to the program,
are reserved by the author. It is asked that, when distributed, all
files in the distribution be kept intact. The "Analog Emulator" drawer
can be copied to and the program executed from a hard drive.
