Maybe I'll be able to reply publicly, once, to the top questions
that keep my mailbox overflowing.

1) I am not officially, associated with CNet, Perspective Software,
Ken Pletzer (CNet's author), or Beverly James Products in any way.
(Nor any of the other 53 Amiga BBS software titles I've tried to
investigate.)

2) I can't possible answer all my mail 1-on-1. I reply to as much of
it as I can. Sometimes too briefly. Sometimes not at all. I do READ
it all, and value it all.

3) I am not 'on the take', accepting 'kickbacks', 'payola' or
'percentages of profits'. I'm not being paid, (nor seeking payment),
for all the favorable comments I've made regarding CNet. I truly feel
it is an incredible piece of work. I recommend it highly.
(And those that know me, know that I'm NOT easily pleased.)

4) I've had to turn off (MUFFLE) all chat-requests that callers
attempt to send me at CNET HQ, my BBS and nearly all the BBSes I call.
Enourmous phone bills and time limits just don't allow me to chat with
everyone. (It's NOT that I specifically don't want to talk to you.)

5) I'm NOT a beta tester. I only have access to the same version
release updates that you do. I only have access to the same non-beta
message areas that you do. I haven't heard any "inside information"
that you haven't heard. (I don't know if Ken plans on granting me
beta-tester status someday.)

6) I'm not 'taking over CNet'. I'm not 'buying Ken out' for the
source code or copyrights. (Nor do I have any desire to.)

7) Lastly, and most importantly, don't send me mail saying "Bill, your
suggestion #411 is great." Instead, SEND THAT COMMENT TO KEN, CNET'S
AUTHOR. He's the only one that add/remove/change CNet. (Of course,
he can't add/remove/change things that he doesn't know about.) I
don't 'work on the code'.

If you purchase CNet BBS be sure and mention my name.
