{{{  Notes
This file contains some frequently asked questions. I wrote it for
those people, who like to email me questions instead of roff the
documentation and read it before installing Origami. I hope this avoids
unnecessary email. Warning: The explanations given in this file are
*short*.

{{{ What is required to install Origami?
MINIX:
    Version 1.5 with library patches (termios, malloc)
    1.3->1.5 ACK compiler, BCC, CvW or GNU C
    Bugfixes for bawk or another awk

SUNOS:
    Version 4.1.1

TOS:
    Turbo C
    awk

DOS:
    Turbo C 2.0
    awk

Origami requires you to like Emacs (vi in future) as an adjective or
enough patience to write an emulation of your favourite editor.
}}}
{{{ How do I install Origami?
roff install.ms or read install.asc.
}}}
{{{ Is Origami full Emacs compatible?
No. I use Emacs as an adjective. Origami is a small editor - no elisp,
no windows. Origami has all capabilities needed by its authors. Since
this may be very subjective, source code is provided.
}}}
{{{ Is Origami full vi compatible?
Again no. vi is a philosophy as well. There are no regular expressions
and a few things work different compared to vi. But there are modes and
a lot of other stuff loved by vi users and hated by Emacs users.
}}}
{{{  What documentation is included?
An Origami User Guide which explains installation, all functions and
OCL.

A small document which explains the installation.

Several manual pages for your online man system.
}}}
{{{ Why isn't it full POSIX?
At first, because MINIX isn't full POSIX yet. Another reason is that I
am still looking for a POSIX reference book in Germany.
}}}
{{{ Why are these notes so short? (for quiche eaters)
Obviously, you are not a real programmer, otherwise your would have
stopped reading earlier. Do not be angry, all the questions mentioned
above are answered more detailed in the manuals.
