Protocol UUCP official protocol standards (RFC's)

The files in these directories are:

Protocol/RFC-822 Standard for the format of ARPA
                               Internet text messages
    Protocol/RFC-920 Domain requirements
Protocol/RFC-976 UUCP mail interchange format standard
Protocol/RFC-1036 Standard for interchange of USENET messages
Protocol/RFC-1137 Mapping between full RFC 822 and
                               RFC 822 with restricted encoding

All of this is public domain and freely redistributable. I would
suggest including some, if not all, of it with your UUCP distribution.
I feel that the Netiquette directory is REQUIRED READING for anyone
capable of posting news. The order in which I listed them is a fairly
logical reading sequence.

Also, anyone who is thinking of writing any UUCP code should be
conversant with the RFCs in the Protocol directory. Perhaps that
should be included with your source distribution.

Feel free to contact me at the below addresses if you would like more.
You may include this letter in your distribution if you like.
