**** NOTE: AmigaUW REQUIRES AmigaOS version 2.0 (v37 or better) ****

- Whats new in this release (release 3)?

The UNIX src has been made more portable and much easier to configure, see
the README_FIRST and makefile within the amuw.tar file for more details.

TTY ownership problem which caused programs such as tcsh to behave wierdly
somewhat addressed. A fix has been applied which should work with most
people, but is probably not a cure-all.

Option added (-t) that will cause uwserverd to automatically quit when
the last uw.device is closed in *normal* mode (not multisession mode).

Serial.device noncompliance bug fixed in uw.device. It now returns the
actual amount of data written on a CMD_WRITE.

AmigaUW now supports automatic TTY resize. Currently, only HFT (included)
supports the custom IORequest amuw uses, but it is documented for other
comm program writers to use as well.

- What was new in release 2.

Uwserverd now allows you to specify the serial bps rate directly as a
command line option (for bps rates you can't get in preferences). XON/XOFF
is now automatically disabled.

Uwserverd now always uses the -s option (ie. It sticks around till you kill
it off). The -s option has been removed (not needed anymore).

Uw.device will now allow you to use unit numbers other than 0 to open up
sessions (useful for getting around owndevunit.library).
