[from the Elm documention:]

Amiga Guide needs to know where to find your databases (help files, documents
etc); for that the environment variable "env:AmigaGuide/Path" exists. This
variable contains the list of directory names that AmigaGuide will search
through when it attempts to open a database. The directory names are
separated by a space. Be sure that the unmodified "Elm.guide" file is
located in one of these directories.
