Comment
:
You may recoganize the Macross movie as being based on the Japanese TV show Macross, which was translated in North America as the first generation of Robotech. It was also the basis for several of the mechs in the Battletech RPG. You'll notice that your Valkyrie resemples a Land-Air Mech, and one of the enemies resembles the Marauder. Several toy and model lines were also based on these ships. For instance the Super Valkyrie fighter was the basis for the Autobot toy Jetfire from the second year Transformer toy line. Although the title is in Japanese, the rest of the game is in English. It's a shooting game at least as good as many others, with the added bonus of being based on a great animated movie. - Mathew R.
