This archive contains an early beta version of Miami 3.0 demo.
For your own PERSONAL testing only.

DO NOT DISTRIBUTE, MIRROR OR UPLOAD THIS ARCHIVE OR ANY PARTS OF
IT ANYWHERE.

The contents of the archive are an INCREMENTAL update to
Miami 2.1p only. You need to have a complete installation of
Miami 2.x, and then install the contents of this archive
"on top" of your installation.

NOTE: This version is for TESTING of individual features only,
NOT as a production environment. The latest full, official
release version is 2.1p.

NOTE: The MUI GUI module of this version of Miami requires MUI 3.8
or higher. Earlier versions of MUI *cannot* be used. Previous
versions of Miami worked with MUI 3.3 or higher.

Limitations of this beta version:

- Demo version only. The registered version should be ready within
about a week. (Yes, I know, this delay may disappoint some
registered users, but the new keyfile system is not ready yet.
As soon as it is ready, a registered version and upgrade tools
  will be released).

- No new docs yet.

- No catalog files yet.

- No new versions of MiamiInit/MiamiInitSANA2/MiamiRegister yet.

- Not all intended functions of Miami 3.0 are implemented yet.

- Keyfile upgrades from 2.x to 3.x are not available yet.

- Only MUI gui module available at this time. Other modules (GTLayout
  etc.) will be available later.

Please test the following new features:

- SOCKS V4/V5 support.

- DHCP support.

- support for multiple IP addresses in DNS cache.

- loading and unloading of GUI modules (kill/deiconify).

- "Offline without hangup".

- Extended output in status window (modem speed indicator).

- Extended output in requester "applications are still using Miami".

Also, several changes have been made in the following areas. Please
test the current implementation:

- SLIP/PPP/protocol configuration, automatic DNS detection and
  testing etc.

- window iconify/deiconify/kill.

- auto-reconnect, auto-online etc.

Most other new features (MS-CHAP, PPP logging. built-in serial
handler etc.) are only available in the registered version,
i.e. public testing can only start once the registered version
is available.
