Screen 1 drawSTUDIO's powerful snapping tools being used to dimension a drawing. You may snap to the grid, or to object lines, curves, points or ends for maximum flexibilty. (16K)

Bitmap image support, showing black and white and colour bitmap images. The black and white images have been rotated whilst the colour Coke can has a transparent background, showing through the gradient backdrop. The pop up quick colour requestor is open on the left hand side of the screen. (35K) Screen 2

Screen 3 Pattern, gradient and bitmap fills applied to different objects. The CD is a compound object with a hollow centre. The planet is created by using a circle object, filled with a render from TextureStudio "Gas Giant" render. The snapping requester is shown at the top left of the screen. (30K)

drawSTUDIO uses a high quality Adobe Type1 font engine for maximum quality fonts, both on screen and when printed out. Text, as all with all objects, may then be warped or stretched to create eye-catching compositions. (24K) Screen 4

Screen 5 Unique to an illustration program on the Amiga are drawSTUDIO's range of gradient fills and transparant colours. Better still, transparent colours can be used in gradient fills to lead to natural shading on objects. The layers requester is shown at the bottom left of the screen. (27K)

The attributes requester in more detail; this is where new colours, gradients and fills are created and chosen. Custom gradients may be created using the gradient editor which may then be saved to disk or combined with the existing range of fills. (32K) Screen 6

Screen 7 The warp requester, showing the realtime wireframe preview to aid the use of the warping effects. (23K)

drawSTUDIO's font requester, showing available Adobe Type1 fonts. Fonts may be sourced by the program from different locations for maximum flexibility. (65K) Screen 8

Screen 9 Another of drawSTUDIO's powerful features is its wide range of support for bitmap images. Images may be placed on the page or used as the basis for a bitmap object fill. To reduce memory requirements, only one copy of the bitmap is kept in memory at any time, no matter how may times it is used in a project. All the common bitmap formats are supported (IFF-ILBM, GIF, JPEG, BMP, TIFF etc...) for both import and export. (69K)
