You may already remember this game as it was cancelled early in the year but now the development of Maim & Mangle has restarted and is planned to be released commercially.
Maim & Mangle is a real-time strategy game in the same style as Dune II or Command & Conquer. Details are being kept quiet but you will have features such Multiplayer games via TCP/IP and a save option for them, night time combat, weather effects, command one of three factions and plenty more. But according to the developers this will be no clone but a game so stunning that even spoiled PC users will once again be jealous of their Amiga owning friends.
This is of course reflected in the requirements with you needing a CD-Rom drive and even a graphics board but a AGA version will be also made.
