If installed with the supplied Installer script, all files are placed
properly, and the GUI and Reference directory can be placed anywhere
on the system: the script will create the necessary ENV variables to
link things together. Installer places these in an ENV directory
called "POV", but POV-Ray will find them in the main ENV: directory
if this subdir doesn't exist. The only recommended changes that the
script does not implement are: an "assign PovRay3: {wherever}" in the
s:user-startup script so that the supplied AREXX scripts work, installation
of the shortcut CLI startup commands from the POV-Ray/S directory, and
addition of appropriate settings to "s:filetypes" (if present) so that
the "env:sys/def_POV.info" icon is used for iconless files. A sample
of the lines to add is in "pov-ray/s/POV-filetyes".
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ASSIGN OF POVRAY3: DIFFERS FROM P3:, AS SUGGESTED
IN THE FIRST V3 RELEASE. NEITHER IS NECESSARY RIGHT NOW, BUT POVRAY3: WILL
BECOME NECESSARY NEXT RELEASE.
