Time of good proposals and interesting ideas is going to end. In next months we'll start to see results of VIScorp's, PIOS' and Phase5's research.
VIScorp, as you can read from news section, has presented the first portable Amiga, 040 and 060 based.
PIOS is present at CeBIT, where we also hope to go, to examine this new machine, or at least to see the point where PIOS developing team has reached.
Phase5 is the most said note in this fast oversee. After it has done incredible promises, it has eclipsed, they never answered to our e-mails, even if, personally, I subscribed myself in the developer program in the copper cathegory. We hope that this house, so promising, will not stop or slow down its work, because something like that would be a big loss.
Anyway, we are at the moment of truth: uncountable new opportunities opened in the last months have to materialize in facts.
Here at Amiga Blast, we think that, they that first will offer a RISC machine with special features and a good compatibility, also at binary level, with existsing Amiga programs, they will become quickly the leader of Amiga market and not only.
Amiga is a machine with incredible power and high level professional software. A new RISC machine that can work with this software will find itself with a wide and ready to use program base. And we, from ever and forever Amiga users, will have a new computer to continue our road with.
