Symphonie : First Midi implementation ------------------------------------- here are the explanations: 1. Its a first release for Midi, meaning there are a lot of improvments possible. 2. Getting started: a. copy the camd.library into libs: b. load Symphonie c. To enter midi press F7 Assist should now report a good or bad midi connection 3. There is only midi input into Symphonie Now output will be generated 4. The response time for editing is very slow To get better response set the MENU:system buffers to 2 For realtime performance you can try to set a high BPM rate, giving you even better response time 5. Multi channel recording is not yet possible 6. Chords are possible in realtime 7. Midi events which are interpreted: a. Key On: Generates a mono event in Symphonie b. Clock : Start -> Start Song c. Clock : Stop -> Stop Song, Stop all Channels d. Clock : Cont -> Play from actual position e. Program Change -> The Instrument will change inside Symphonie f. SysEx streams should be disabled if possible g. Unknown events are displayed as Hex codes inside Assist (Send some feedback to the author on these events !! Also tell me which equipment is used) h. Packed Key On events are possibly not interpreted correctly Good luck -- Patrick
