Set the new pattern length, number of patterns, channelnumber c. now you have to enable the conversion feature by enabling PREFS/LOAD SONG MOD/KEEP PATTERN # (to expand pattern number) and d. PREFS/LOAD SONG MOD/CONVERT SONG (to expand pattern len, numbee of channels) e. reload the previously save song the convert it to the new structure f. disable PREFS/LOAD SONG MOD/KEEP PATTERN # and PREFS/LOAD SONG MOD/CONVERT SONG *** You can only make a song larger but NOT smaller !! *** 02. make a loop? 03. mark the block? Move the CRSR to block begin, press return Move the CRSR to block end, press return *** As soon as the block is marked, a block copy operation is automagically invoked 04. exclude the sample from global DSP effect? Push INSTRUMENT EDITOR/ () Button 05.*input notes in higher octave than 3rd? 06. rip the samples from the song? 07. stop changing the samples in SampleEditor? (I mean that RealTime/Instrument) 08. stop the song? Press ESC 09. play the same pattern forever? Press F2 10. play the song from current position? Press F3 11. disable the channel? Press F1 (mute track) 12. force the sample to play in both channels? Press INSTRUMENT EDITOR / >> The >> button enables the sync play option. Mono Samples : The left sample plays exactly on the right channel Stereo Samples : Both Channels Play exactly synced (pitch, loop ...) *** Currently this feature while cause clicks on the right channel because the anticlick system doesnt yet work correctly with this special instruments Just try out if you get additional clicks if enabled. Disable if you do get additional clicks 13. !@#$%^&? (my VolumeSlideUp problem :) 14. include the text file to a song? a .Select MENU:MODULE/DISCRIPT b. Choose the textfile c. Save the song or mod *** After saving the song or mod, the textfile while be removed from memory again. Therefore only save a textfile if you dont do any changes to a mod afterewards. 15.*make a virtual sample? (I've tried this but with strange results) This needs the exact instructions step by step how to make eg. sample from a few tracks and so on... notes: Make sure you move to an EMPTY instrument before doing a virtual Instrument. Exception: If you select remix the acual instrument will be remixed onto the next one. The remix source is marked with the actual crsr position. 16. play the sample from selected position? (Fr&P) 17.*play the sample from selected position and with selected volume? Its not possible at the same time. You have to use a volume command and then on the next line a FR&P 18.*close the window for real? Shrink it instead or hide it instead, you gain nothing by closing it 19.*set the BPM? Is it saved with song and so it no needs any command entered in da song? BPM is saved as module prefs inside the mod, no command is needed 20.*play the sample in backward way? Create a virtual remix then push INSTRUMENT ED/RVS to reverse the sample Then,in the guide, you have to explain all the basic things like this: 1. ONE left and ONE right channel creates ONE stereo track. 2. Left channel has a higher priority than right...(write something 'bout that if you force the sample to play in both channels and sample is situated in the left channel, the right channel is ignored). 3. Volume of samples. This is different from PT so it needs some words. When you change the 'static' volume of sample, sample is recalculated from original (100%) to a given value. Then, in tracker, when you play the same sample with a specified volume eg. 80%, it plays 80% from that static value, not 80% for real! (80% for real only if the static value is 100%) 4. Explain the CYCLE. (and the problem with G 2 000+0 CV =00057 I had needed all these answers in the begining and I hope that EXACT answers could help to others like me who already know PT...
