Foreword:

what a shocker

Truly shocking. An issue this size? I knew the World of Amiga show would as always provide some interesting reading material, but this time things got a tad out of hand. Overboard. Mad.

As you may have noticed, this issue has all you would ever want to read concerning the Amiga Inc news from the Woa. It may have been almost a week or two ago now, but the dust is only just starting to settle. We give you an outline of Amiga's plans, give you an insight into the event and even another possible contender for the mystery superchip, plus our views on the announcement.

Things don't stop there, however. We also review Finale's new text editor, Digital Quill, look at which Internet plug-ins could make it big on the Amiga, plus Chris's exclusive guide to creating your very own indistinguishable Andy Warhol look-a-like painting using just your Amiga and some creative spirit. We once again review an Aminet directory, and the Forum has also been totally updated.

My new lay-out, pioneered in last month's issue, has seen another update using Chris's new graphics, and now in my opinion looks even better than before. However, both Chris and I are still not happy with it, so Chris has come up with a radical new design, which he wants you all to sort of beta-test before it is possibly implemented next month. See our message board for more info.

Take a dive in this month's issue - you won't resurface for a month!

Erik.
