I can't get the download of TheLair 9 (I believe), on the 30/10/97, the FCI thenet server doesn't have it, and it isn't on amigaworlds site.. could you please mail me when this is sorted so i can download it.

Thanks.

We did indeed have some problems with the archives, they should now all have been fixed though. Thanks for letting us know.

The great Netscape

Greetings,

I was wondering if there was something wrong with your web page at amigaworld.com. The host page at http://www.amigaworld.com comes up fine, but the /thelair/ site loads in and results in a blank page.

My configuration is Netscape 3, Win95, DirectX 5, etc.

In about 6 months of browsing on this PC, this is the first page I have found that remains "blank". I used the document source to find your email address.

All links within the page seem to be loading normally, but at the end, when the page would appear, there is a pause, then the page is "done" or loaded and nothing is on the screen.

Thanks,

Brian @ bbell19@nwlink.com

Hmm... You're being too modest - or perhaps you didn't know that your Web page (http://amigaworld.com/thelair) is completely invisible. At least on Netscape v2.02 for OS/2 it is... Surely there's _something_ worth looking at? Have fun,

Gregg Sawyer

Have you tried looking at the lair with netscape 3? All I get is white on the home page.

It's basically because you're missing a </table>

On the contents page, the top table has a background of all white, but the text is a pale blue colour. Even if my colour map was correct, it should be pale green (aaddaa) on white which is not too easy to read! Maybe netscape shouldn't carry the td color information over from the first table data box, but it does and lots of people use it (or have to ...)

Next I'll look at the articles ;-)

Hi

I'm using netscape navigator 3 (macintosh), and i'm unable to view the first page of the e-zine(it is blank after loading). I also think you should add "www" to the prefix of the address.

thanks
bye

Alright, ok! So that was a major blunder on our part. Problem is we're both IE folks ourselves so we don't notice till we get all these letters screaming at us to get it right. As I said in the foreword, I've made a very conscious effort this month to get things working in Netscape again, so they should! Again, thanks for letting us know.
