You have to use -O0 to compile slrn with GCC 2.7.2.1 or slrn will crash,
requires libslang.a, current slang sources can be found for example on
space.mit.edu:/pub/davis/slang or ftp.uni-stuttgart.de:/pub/unix/misc/slang/
comm/news/slang0.99-38.lha is on aminet, but this is an old version,
patches for 1.0.3 and 1.2.2 are included.

The binaries slrn and slrnpull/slrnpull require a 68020 or higher,
ixemul and ixnet.library and some parts of GG/ADE (pdksh, terminfo files,
...).
