WHAT'S HAPPENED TO 90S GIRLS?

Does it seem to others as it does to me?  That girls have become shallow
in the 1990s?!  Or has it always been that way?

As some people know, I'm 19, hardly past it, and I go out to clubs
etc.  and hang around places and have a few female friends.  But
the thing is, the company I keep often seem to get the women I like.

Ok, before you lot pull out your violins and sob for me, I know that
sounds sad as fuck, but it's true.  all the girls around my age I meet
are only interested in boys with one of three things

a) money
b) status
c) nice looks

I have friends who fit the criterias, I have friends who have quite well
off, I have other friends who have a high social status, and I have other
friends who are really good looking.  So what about me?  

Well, I'm not rich, I'm at uni for god's sake!  Status... not so wonderful
right now, and although I wouldn't say I was ugly, I'm apparently a "bit
of a porker" (thanks Arnie).  I do get approached by girls (sometimes)
but usually they go for my friends, and if I approach them, then yes they
get chatty, and want to be friends, but nothing more seems to happen.  

Every relationship I seem to have normally falls flat on it's arse after
a few months.  Just gets you down sometimes, maybe I should just throw the
hat in?!  Any one got any views on this?
