Most of you will know UFO: Enemy Unknown as one of the best Strategy games ever to be released on the Amiga.
In UFO: Enemy Unknown you take command of X-COM, a organisation set up by the worlds powers to take on the Alien threat that exists. They've been coming to Earth for sometime in UFO's of various sizes and now they have set up bases and are threatening to take control over Earth - it's up to you to kick some Alien butt and fight them all the way back to their home planet. |

You control the X-COM bases completely, conducting Research on Alien equipment and weapons alot with manufacturing what you've finished researching, building new buildings such as Defences, Hangers, and even a building to house Aliens for interrogation. Then you got the action part and this is the best part of the game, after your Interceptor shoots down a Alien craft you've got to send out the Marines to recover the craft and kill off any Aliens who survived the crash. You control there every movement, the weapons, ammo, and equipment they carry. If you feel the mission may be a little tough you can always bring a Rocket Tank to give those Aliens an explosive surprise. Pretty useful for the big Alien UFO's and Aliens bases you have to take over. |

I bought this game back in 1994 when it was published by Microprose and I still play it to this very day. It's a game with plenty of depth and what you really require is plenty of patience and time - I've spent entire days playing it and I'm still not very far into the game but it's been designed that way. |

You've now got the chance to own this game by simply buying the latest issue of Amiga Format which has got the full version on it's CD. It's well worth buying and it's possibly your last chance to get UFO: Enemy Unknown - one of the best Strategy games ever.
