Q's Lottery Generator is (C) @{"Will Morton (aka Q...)" link "Q" 0}

The UK National Lottery is (C) Camelot.

This program can be spread to whoever you want, as long as no money is
involved (unless you want to send some to me, of course!)

All 3 files (QLot.guide, QLot.txt, QLottery) must be distributed together,
and none of it must be altered in any way.

You can use this program free of charge, but if you win a nice amount of
money (ie: more than a couple of hundred quid), then you must send some to
me (please please please!!!). Especially if you win the jackpot. Yeah,
that WOULD be nice.....!

CD Rom Producers are allowed to use this on their CD's, as long as none of
the three files mentioned above are left out. CD's reccommended are:
AmiNet, Fred Fish, and the CU Amiga and Amiga Format cover CD Roms.

I need a little help, if anyone is willing to help....

I have Amos Pro V2 and Amos Pro Compiler, and have a little problem...

I am writing a game at the moment (don't worry, it's A LOT better than this
effort!!!) which has a title tune and sound effects in the game. I wrote
the title tune with OctaMED Pro V4, and has a speed of 75/6 (I think...)
and uses 4 tracks.

Thing is, is that when the tune plays, and then after the tune has stopped
with the MED STOP command, the samples ALWAYS loop, even though there is no
SAM LOOP command used anywhere in the program!

I put this down to Amos Pro not being too happy about MED modules, so
decided to save it as a protracker module, and then alter the CIA speeds
actually using protracker. After doing this, I load the tune back into my
game, but lo-and-behold, Amos Pro doesn't want to play CIA speeds properly!

Has anyone got any ideas as what I can do about this?

I have heard that there is a tool of some description that patches Amos Pro
to play CIA mods properly, but I can't find a copy.

Please @{"contact me" link "Q" 0} if you can help!!!

Q's Lottery Generator, programmed etc. by Will Morton with AMOS Pro.

(C)1997 @{"Will Morton" link "Q" 0}.

This is a wee prog which lets you generate a set of random numbers between 1
and 49, for you to use in the UK lottery, and any other lotteries which
require 6 numbers choosing from 49.

You can select 1 ticket (£1) up to 7 tickets (£7), which is the maximum
amount of tickets you can fit on one UK lottery slip.

Well, that's basically everything the program does. That's that. You may
as well go back to the @{"index" link "Main" 0}.

This program should run on pretty-much all Amiga set-ups, as long as you
have a copy of AMOS.library in the LIBS: directory. Maybe a couple of other
libs and stuff as well, but I don't know for sure... maybe the
intuition.library...

If you can't get it to work, have a look at my set-up, as it DEFINATELY
works on that.

Load it as normal from Workbench, and then press a ket to start.

Then you have the choice of:

      @{"2)  Generate Numbers" link "2)" 0}

      @{"3)  Quit" link "3)" 0}

Will Morton - A small amount of info.                  @{"BACK TO INDEX" link "Main" 0}

I am 18 years old (I will be 19 on 27th October.... ) and am just about to
start my first year at Newcastle College studying music technology.

My Amiga set-up is as follows:

A1200, 030/50 mhz accellerator, 8 meg fastram, 2x SCSI CD Rom + Squirrel,
850mb IDE HD, Sampler, 2 floppies, MIDI Interface, VIDI Amiga 12 digitiser.

I also have a bunch of music kit linked up to my Amiga, as my purpose in
life is to write music using my beloved A1200...

I have had one Amiga or another for 8 years, and had (and still have!) a C64
2 years before that. Talking of C64's..... if anyone has any C64 stuff they
no longer require, I would be very grateful for it!!!!

Well, that just about sums it up. If you would like any music/sfx writing
for your commercial game/product/whatever, then just get in touch. My
parents address is below, but you can write there and they will pass it on
(I do not know my address for Newcastle yet, as the college will not tell
anyone until they actually arrive.... strange...)

Will Morton (or just write "Q" if you can't be bothered), 89 Fordlands Road,
Fulford, York, YO1 4QR, England.
