I've been waiting for this demo for a long time now. Strangers as I have told you many times is in the style of the old Renadge beat'em ups. Many of you will know that means unlike many other types of beat'em ups where there are just two players fighting out to the death but Strangers involves you and even a few friends going up against a whole gang of fighters.
Once loaded and you choose from one of the variety of languages that you can pick, then go to the Game Options Menu (F2). This is where you get to pick how many human players you want to fight with you and what type of fight it should be. You can fight either against a gang of fighters very much intend on ending your life, or Deathmatch where you against the other human players. The Menu really gives you an idea of all the different features within Strangers and sound very impressive especially with an option for Gang Warfare. If playing by yourself or in two player go to Select Controls so you can change to Joystick or to Keyboard. The music will help get you into a fighting mood.
Once you have choosen what you want from the limited options (it is only a brief demo) just hit Escape to get to the Main Menu and then hit Start Action (F1) to get into the heat of battle.
It's then quite simply up to you to beat up anyone or get yourself beat up by them. You can do flying kicks, punching (even when they are on the ground), back kicks and my own favourite throwing the guy accross the room. This is only a small selection as it is better to discover and learn the moves for yourself. During the fight you'll hear some samples of a boss calling you stuff but take no notice and knock him dead. You will find that it is very tough to win but I found it best to move around and then strike out at them, this way it is harder for them to get you. Be careful of the molten lava, I got into bit of a habit of jumping in and getting myself killed.
But do watch out for the black haired boss as he does a special move that quite literally blows you away. And I mean that.
