Wordworth 6 Digita International Wordworth 6 comes on Disk or CD. That is the first point I have to make. The CD option should have been taken up ages ago and soon take over the floppy disk as media of choice. The CD comes with the manual on disc and the FloppyDisk version comes with it in a booklet. However, the program is so simple to get to grips with that you hardly need this. I have only used the on-line help system twice and have never even looked at the manual. This is what the future is made of. Wordworth 6 has some brilliant additions from v5. There are boxes that you can position anywhere on screen for text. Texteffects, which are boxes with words in that you can add shadows to, spiral up and perform various tasks on. To add to this, there is a pretty comprehensive menu of all the things you can add to a document. For instance, Boxes, Ovals, Circles, Tables, etc. You can also Mailmerge which is a very useful facility which I use regularly. These are only a few of the features that make WW6 so brilliant. The interface is smooth (especially on 10MB) and easy to navigate. It has a nice layout of buttons and things and the menus are laid out very well. Arexx has been incorporated into the production aswell with the added bonus of scriptmaking. There are various scripts provided for playing hangman, creating invoices, web sites, letters, faxes and memos. You can also add to these as you want to. It has a fast spell checker and thesaurus and they are huge. The statistics window has changed to show when the file was last saved, printed and who by along with loads of other things. The only thing I can really complian about is the fact that you STILL can't flow text around both sided of a picture or other object. Why the hell not? Come on digita. Get on to this, then WW6 with be the premier word publisher. Wordworth 6 CD SPEED: Fast, compared to Final Writer, printing routines are brill MANUAL: Hardly needed, it's that simple FEATURES:Simply loads of them OVERALL: 95% -Still the reigning champion.
