Foundation FAQ's - V1.1 (5/8/1997)

Question: When will a demo be available? Where will it be available from?
Answer: There should be a demo available around October 1997 - we don't want to delay the release date by taking time out from the actual game development to make a demo though. There are lots of things planned for the game, and we want to make sure that the demo does the game full justice. It will be available from Aminet, magazine cover CDROMs etc.

Question: Will AHI support be included definitely?
Answer: We're 95% sure it will be included, as it will mean lower Chip RAM usage on all Amigas, and also mean we support Sound cards.

Question: Will it support Picasso IV?
Answer: At present only CyberGFX has been supported but we have been promised a Picasso IV card, so again, we are 95% sure of support.

Question: Will PPC support be added?
Answer: A PPC version will go ahead if there's enough sales from Foundation. We have been trying to get a developers board from Phase 5, but so far no luck. If you want to see PPC support, email Phase 5 at support@phase5.de

Question: Why Should I Pre-Order from Sadeness Software?
Answer: If Paul Burkey's (developer) hard work on the development of Foundation doesn't pay-off, he will not be encouraged to release Foundation II onto the Amiga. Question: Is ECS support being dropped?
Answer: YES, we plan to drop ECS support, this will allow us to make the AGA/CyberGFX version better.

Question: Will it work on my Amiga?
Answer: As long as you have AGA or Graphics card, 2meg and CDROM drive.

Question: Will it support Graffitti?
Answer: No, it wouldn't be any faster and Foundation would not benefit from it.
