Describe briefly the physical appearance of the object(s): Red light moving slowly and silently. Round shape, about 6 to 12 inches? around.

Describe briefly the location of your sighting: Rural area, farm fields. Not many trees. About 5 or 6 miles from nearest town. See Map.

Where were you & what were you doing at the time: In the car driving on Hwy 343 south to sister's house.

What made you first notice the object: Red light moving slowly from the west going across the Hwy we were on.

What did you think the object was when you first saw it: UFO.

Describe your reaction/action during and after the sighting: Excited, scared, curious.

Describe the object and its actions: It was a red object like a radio tower light and was low in the sky. It's movement caught our attention. It was moving to cross the road in front of us from the west. It suddenly disappeared, then reappeared on the other side of the road. We turned east and pulled in to my sister's house. We got out of the car and the object was hovering over a house at about treetop level on the right side of the road about 150 ft away. As we ran toward the object, it then moved toward the road very, very, slowly. It climbed in height to go over the power lines and hovered over the house across the street. It then moved toward a small patch of woods and went down behind the trees. By that time we were back in the car trying to follow it and could see its red glow in the woods. It appeared to be landing. We lost sight of the object in the trees and never did see it again.
