We are pleased to offer this opportunity for you to be able to create your own Web Pages on Internet. We are dedicated to provide a quality service at a very fair and inexpensive price, so that anyone who is interested in sharing their message on Internet can easily do so. Listed below is a description and list of our services which can help you be a part of this exciting new world:

Web Page Rental:

Each customer has a choice of two pricing plans for renting space on the V J Enterprises Web Site. They may either pay a one time yearly fee of $300.00 (equivalent to $25 per month) or they may pay $35 for each month they wish to rent space. For the yearly fee, we ask for 1/3 down, before services starts ($100), prior to the start of the 5th month of service the next 1/3 ($100) and prior to the beginning of the 9th month of service the remainder ($100). If the entire fee for a yearly service is paid completely before service starts, we will offer to add you to a special page we will create that lists the background of our Web Customers, free of charge. For a yearly service, a two month penalty ($50) will be assessed if you decide to discontinue your service before the end of the year subscription is concluded (using $25 per month to calculate the total cost of the rental used during the period of usage). The Page Rental entitles each customer to up to 2000 words, which can comprises as many pages as you wish (remember the more pages you want, the longer the time it will take to create the page, see our design fees shown below). Also you are entitled to the use of two graphics. The size of the graphics (using a GIF format) will be no larger than 50k of space.

If you wish to add additional words or graphics to your Web pages, the charges will be $5/month for each additional graphic; $5 per month for each block of 250 words (i.e. up to the first 250 additional words is $5, from 251-500 additional words is $10 more per month, etc).

Design & Editing Fees:

The Page Rental quoted before does not include our fee to design your Web Page(s). We charge $40/hour for any design, editing or modification work done upon your pages. Prior to doing any work, we will always give an estimate, once all materials have been received (including all graphics and text). It is to our customers' advantage to try to do as much prep work as possible to reduce his/her cost of designing time. For example, if you can provide on a computer disk, in a text file format, all the information you wish to display on your pages, and formated in the proper order, this will take much less time to prepare as an Internet Web Page, then if we must type in entire your copy. Also another part of our fee is the time required to scan in any pictures, artwork or photographs which you wish to use on your Pages. We have an HP ScanJet IICX which does a very good job of scanning in black and white, grey tone or color. A minimum of one half hour will be charge on all designing or editiong jobs.

Initial Deposit:

A 50% up front payment of our time estimate for work is required first, before any work will commence (this is true for a 1st time customer or to create new pages or edit existing pages). This policy is to ensure that our customers will know what the cost of their work will be, so we can receive their permission to begin and ensures that we receive compensation for our time to handle your request. If this is the 1st time you are setting up a page on our Web Site, we will also request that the first month's rent be included in the initial payment (either $25 for a yearly rental, or $35 if you wish to go on a monthly basis).

An agreement will be signed with all customers, and receipt given whenever payment is received. Also, we will provide additional links to your Web Pages from other area on our Web Site to let our readers know of your services and additionally will be making weekly announcements of our site in the appropriate newsgroups on Internet or in some of the various mailing lists we participate in.

VJ Site Statistics:

Our site has been in operation since March 4th, 1995. We receive daily statistical reports from our host server, EXECPC in Milwaukee (WI) which shows us the amount of activity being conducted through our site each month. Our average weekly traffic is about 3-4,000 inqueries a week with about 3-4 gigabytes of data being sent over the Network. We have people accessing us from over 60 countries in the world and have hundreds of other sites linked to us. We are being accessed by users of all the major commercial online services such as America Online, Comuserve, Prodigy and Netcom, as well as numerous people are linking into our site from various educational systems and businesses. We also are the coordinator of NA NET Global and UFO Net Global (to start in September of 1996) which are both an International Network of Web Sites.
