Throughout the pages we have provided on the Roswell Film, Mr. Santilli has stated on numerous occassions that he has had Kodak view part of the film to verify that it is authentic. On the Paragon Computers they have shared copies of correspondences between Mr. Santilli and Kodak. We are sharing these letters with our readers so you can see what has transpired between Mr. Santilli and Kodak. In addition, James Easton of the UK, has been actively pursuing this case, and he has discovered some challenges to what is being claimed. We provide both insights for the readers to decide for themselves what is true about the film.

Dear Mr Santilli
Thank you for your letter of 14 July.
I have discussed this matter further with my colleagues both her and in the USA and our conclusions are that any further examinations of the film are unlikely to yield any further data, or give any further confirmation or otherwise, that the film was manufactured in either 1927, 1947 or 1967.
Also, that age of manufacture does not confirm the date when the film was shot or processed.
As you know, this matter is currently being discussed on the Internet and I enclose a copy of a note (see next section) that we will be putting there in the next few days.
I am sorry that we can't be more categorical about our findings, and I wish you success with your project.

NOTE FROM MR. MILSON'S LETTER

The possibility of life-forms on planets other than Earth have always fired the imagination. This has been particularly true in the movie business and Kodak has been involveed in supplying camera negative film to such films, e.g. 'ET' and 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind'.
More recently, we have become involved in a more complex situation, namely we have been asked to confirm the age of a piece of film known as 'The Roswell Film' which allegedly shows Alien life-forms.
We have seen sections of either the film or its projection leader in 3 Kodak locations: UK, Hollywood and Denmark. The following outlines the conclusions of our examinations:

In our manufacturing process we put a code on the edge of the film which repeats every 20 years.
The symbols we have seen on the Roswell film samples suggest that the film was manufactured in either 1927, 1947 or 1967.
We are, therefore, unable to categorically confirm when the film was manufactured.
It should also be remembered that even if the age of the film manufacture is confirmed, this does not necessarily indicate that the film was shot and processed in the same year.
So, the bottom line is, that although we would like to know if Aliens actually exist, Kodak cannot categorically confirm either the age of the film or when it was shot and processed.

Quest International, publishers of UFO Magazine (UK), have now definitively confirmed that following discussions with Mr Peter Milson, Marketing Planning Manager and Motion Picture and Television Imaging Manager of Kodak Limited, Hemel Hempstead, London, Kodak have not verified any of the alleged archive film as dating from 1947.
Mr Milson confirmed that Kodak, Hemel Hempstead, had some 2-3 weeks ago been contacted by The Merlin Group and were asked to verify the dating of a film leader, approximately 2 inches long.
Being a film leader, this had no exposures on it.
The symbols on the edge of the film leader indicated its year of manufacture as either, 1927, 1947 or 1967. However, as the film appeared to be of second generation, it was quite possible to superimpose these markings onto the film to give a false reading.
Mr Milson said that had Kodak been permitted to examine some of the exposed film, they would have been able to provide a fairly accurate date for it, but this had not been the case.
The piece of film shown to them was of no use for analysis or dating.
Mr Milson confirmed that The Merlin Group had been advised of the above in writing.
Mr Milson has spoken to his colleagues within the Kodak offices in the United States and Denmark and confirmed that they were also asked to verify a blank film leader.
Mr Milson stated that Kodak are now taking a consistent line on this matter and indicated they will also take a very serious view should there be any subsequent misleading claims.
I trust Ray will immediately remove the corresponding claims from the Paragon web site.
This seems a ridiculous situation, over 2 years after the film was allegedly first offered for sale and some 6 months after it was supposedly bought.
Perhaps Ray would like to turn his willingness to respond to queries concerning the video's acquisition to the now infinitely more important question of having the film, not the film leader, authenticated beyond dispute.
Perhaps he could also now take some time to provide detailed answers to the questions recently put to him and answer one more:
Is there an independent source who has seen the footage on the original 16mm filmand is willing to confirm this?
