One of our favorite posters of information to internet is Density4 -- you may see some of his handiwork in other sections as well. Recently Den sent to the SNET mailing list a new article by Richard J. Boylan who has been having a rough go of it lately. Mr. Boylan is/was a licensed psychologist who had started to do his own personal research in the UFO phenomena. Recently, he was stripped of his professional title on the grounds of misconduct. While we do not know the full story of his situation we have respected other reports he has shared with others related to information he has uncovered about the UFO phenomena. Upon reading this article (see below, the magazine in which it appears), we felt that Dr. Boylan sentiments are right on track ... something big is coming up related to an official announcement related to UFOs.

Recent and upcoming developments point to public disclosure of UFO and extraterrestrial reality in the very near future.The U.S. Government Accounting Office (GAO) has completed its investigation of the cover-up of documents related to the 1947 Roswell saucer-crash retrieval and autopsies of extraterrestial bodies. This investigation had been commissioned by Congressman Steven Schiff (R-N.M.). Senator Dianne Feinstein (R-Calif.) had joined in the request that the GAO look into the Roswell incident.
The GAO's report of its findings about the Roswell and related saucer-crash documentation was presented to Rep. Schiff and Sen. Feinstein on July 28, 1995, and immediately released to the press by Rep. Schiff.
According to the Roswell report, key military documents about the matter were apparently destroyed without authorization. Schiff characterized these documents as "important" and said that they should have provided more information: "The military cannot explain who destroyed them or why," adding, "[U.S. Air Force explanations] never fit the fact of high military security used at the time."
He also noted that the GAO investigation has stirred the interest of a number of congressmen. Because the GAO interviewed many people and uncovered many details that were not included in the report, the agency reportedly predicts Congressional hearings on the matter.
As mentioned in Perceptions September/October 1995 ("Pulling the Wraps Off the UFO Cover-Up"), the Air Force had issued its own report on the Roswell incident in September 1994, admitting that it had lied to the American public for 47 years. What was retrieved from the crash site under extreme military security was not a weather balloon, it said, but "probably" a spy balloon carrying a highaltitude radiation detector from Project MOGUL. This second balloon story ran into such a hailstorm of ridicule that the Air Force will reportedly try its luck on a third version, said to contain information from a classified USAF document. According to a well-placed source, details of this yet-to-be-released third try have already been leaked to the New York Times.
The Next Generation
On April 13, 1995, Jesse Marcel, Jr., M.D., son of the Army Air Corps intelligence officer who investigated the Roswell crash site in 1947, gave a talk at Helena, Montana. Dr. Marcel, a family physician, told of being invited to Washington, D.C., in 1991 by Dick D'Amato, National Security Specialist for Senator Robert Byrd and liaison member of the National Security Council (NSC). D'Amato requested that Marcel and he meet in a "secure room." When Marcel protested, "I'm not going to say anything I haven't said before," D'Amato insisted, saying that *he* had sensitive information to discuss.He acknowledged to Marcel that what had crashed near Roswell had indeed been a UFO and that aliens had been aboard. This was the first time Marcel had heard anyone in government admit the craft was a UFO. He said that D'Amato's answer to "Where's the wreckage?" was: "We [ the NSC ] don't know."
He went on to tell Marcel that the UFO-reality information *should* be released, but that an incredibly powerful "black arm" of the government has been keeping it secret and that enormous sums of money are being spent illegally to maintain that secrecy. He also said that the NSC is trying to discover who is working so hard to keep the UFO data from the public and why.
UFO researcher Stanton Friedman also attended the meeting and has confirmed its content. Timothy Good, another researcher, corroborated that the Marcel meeting information matched what D'Amato told Good in confidential meetings in Washington and London. His next book will include details of their meetings and the implications of what was revealed.
The NASA Connection

Astronaut Gordon Cooper, also a former Air Force colonel, granted a second interview to Sam Sherman of Independent International Pictures Corporation, who is producing a film titled Beyond This Earth. In it Cooper said, "[I] had worked on a UFO system with someone who had been in touch with extra- terrestrials and was able to gain some knowledge."This person had made a small UFO prototype and was working on a 50-foot model with financial backing from an Arab country when he died. Cooper also talked about the Center for Advanced Technology, which no longer exists but had apparently been involved in "back-engineering"' alien technology. Cooper also talked about a friend who actually viewed the ET bodies at Roswell.
In an article published in April 1995, former NASA Director of Communications, Maurice Chatelain, dropped the bombshell revelation that the Apollo moon mission found "several mysterious geometric structures of unnatural origin" on the moon.
During a May 6, 1995, radio interview on WOL-AM in Washington, D.C., Donna Tietze, a former photo technician at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston during the Apollo moon missions, revealed that a co-worker in a restricted area had the job of airbrushing UFOs out of lunar photos before NASA offered the photos for sale to the public.
The NATO Angle

Former NATO (SHAPE) Intelligence Sgt. Major Robert Dean has revealed that in 1961, a flying disc as long as a football field crashed near Timmensdorf, Germany. [See his "Cosmic Top Secret -- Part Two" in our next issue.] Found in the wreckage were 12 ET bodies. Their "blood" was not red, but rather appeared to be a viscous, greenish fluid.He says that on June 19, 1995, six F-14 Navy fighter jets intercepted a UFO over Puerto Rico. Radio transmissions between the jets and the control tower were recorded by civilians on the ground, but neither the F-14s nor their crews ever returned to their aircraft carrier.
Dean also reports that government insiders feel we are dealing with hundreds of ET civilizations, some intergalactic, some interdimensional. He notes that 10 years ago NASA organized a scientific committee which estimated that the universe contains about 10 billion planets that are home to intelligent life.
"They're Here"
( The Disney Version )
On the weekend of March 18-19, 1995, with no prior announcement, the Walt Disney Company conducted a sneak telecast of a UFO documentary in five states: Connecticut, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida and California. This amazing documentary, featuring CEO Michael Eisner, put the Disney reputation behind many startling statements such as these:
"Mankind is in the midst of the most profound event in history: Actual contact with intelligent life from other planets."Intelligent life from distant galaxies is now attempting to make open contact with the human race, and tonight we'll show you the evidence.
"From beyond the boundaries of our perceptions, intelligent beings are beckoning mankind to join the galactic community. It's an invitation which is both wondrous and terrifying.
"Alien ships seem to arrive in waves and, if the last few Years are any indication, planet Earth is experiencing a tsunami of sightings.
"As early as 1947, the large alien ships began to arrive, navigated by living creatures. Their advanced physics allowed them to traverse the galaxy and pierce Earth's atmosphere with amazing speed.
"More than one alien craft crashed and was recovered for secret U.S. military research.
"This is the actual site where the Roswell saucer was discovered along with the bodies of three extraterrestrial missionaries who didn't survive the collision. The debris and the dead were impounded and taken away for top-secret study, while a classified investigative committee, called the Majestic 12, was organized by President Truman and a government cover-up was initiated with a calculated disinformation campaign.
"For governments determined to maintain their authority, extraterrestrial contact is pure dynamite.
"When [Jimmy Carter] assumed the office of President of the United States, his staff attempted to explore the availability of official investigations into alien contact. As this internal government memo illustrates, there are some security secrets outside the jurisdiction of the White House.
"In November of 1975, essentially every SAC [Strategic Air Command] base in the United States was visited by UFOs.
"Indications are that government, military and scientific leaders will soon release nearly a half-century of official documentation of ongoing alien encounters on Earth.
"Statistics indicate a greater probability that you'll experience extraterrestrial contact in the next five years than the chances that you will win a state lottery.
"[Most] Americans will likely explore outer space aboard crafts of alien origin."
Some UFO researchers feel that Disney's "stealth" documentary broadcasts were tests of the public's ability to handle the revelation of UFO reality and the government cover-up.A published report [Richard Hall, "Reality Check" (column), UFO, Sept/Oct 1995, Vol. 10, #5] indicates that this winter, the Central Intelligence Agency will issue a history of its involve- ment with UFOs. It is expected to be like most CIA reports: sanitized and self-serving.
Politics: The Real 'Lost In Space'?
Well-informed sources say that both the Republican and Democratic national committees are trying to assess whether UFOs, and particularly government secrecy about them, might be a legitimate issue in the upcoming presidential election. In an apparent attempt to avoid being taken by surprise in the politics of UFO disclosure, Republican National Committee Chairman Hailee Barbour and other RNC officials have reportedly contacted several astronauts to learn what they know about UFOs.For its part, the Democratic National Committee is considering putting one or more UFO-related questions on a national survey questionnaire they are preparing for the 1996 election.
Both parties are also aware that a third-party candidate might push the UFO issue to their embarrassment. For instance, Ross Perot was known to have made many behind-the-scenes UFO inquiries during his 1992 presidental campaign.
Actually, the subject may have already become a campaign issue. During the week of September 17, 1995, two national figures referred to UFOs. When former President Jimmy Carter was asked a question about them, he answered by relating an account of how a former CIA director had used a psychic to precisely locate a downed secret U.S. plane. This was a veiled reference to intelligence agencies' use of psychics to study UFOs and extraterrestrials.
The same week presidental candidate Bob Dole disparaged President Clinton's economic-policy claim that more than 2% growth is impossible without inflation, commenting, "That's like the Air Force saying UFOs are impossible."
Their Strategy
Meanwhile the ETs seem to have a game plan of their own, consisting of four parts, to reveal their presence.First, they are apparently increasing the pace, boldness and openness of their appearances. Peter Davenport, director of the National UFO Reporting Center [ (206) 722-3000 ], stated that the center has been swamped by UFO reports since the first week of July 1995, and that the numbers are escalating. Not only are there more incidents, but the center now receives reports of many UFOs in a single sighting.
Second, an increasing number of close-encounter contactees are coming forward to acknowledge their experiences to psychotherapists, investigators and the public. Many professional researchers and therapists report increasing numbers of these unsolicited testimonials.
Third, many UFO contactees and researchers feel compelled to bring the ET presence to public awareness. Reports from around the country verify that many people are feeling such an urgency of purpose. Fourth is the attitude shift in many government leaders toward allowing the release or leaks of UFO information. Some results of this greater openness -- galactic glasnost? -- are evident in the revelations cited earlier in this report and in "Pulling the Wraps Off the UFO Cover-up."
Meanwhile Out in the Bleachers
Typical U.S. sightings by average folks in the last few months:
July 9, 1995, near Versailles, Mo.: Two Air Force officers and a dozen other witnesses see five very large UFOs (a triangular craft and four discs, each at least 300 feet long) hovering over an empty field. On the ground, between 20 and 25 extraterrestrials are moving about. Three different races are present: some are short with purplish skin and large ears, another type is described as "luminous energy" beings and the third group is humanoid and wearing jumpsuits.August 6, Bakersfield, Calif.: Numerous people see clusters of UFOs over the city, as reported in The Bakersfield Californian.
September 7, Seattle, Wash., mid-afternoon: A silvery-gray, cigar-shaped UFO the size of a small plane, so near that portholes across its midsection can be seen, descends and lands at the FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) underground installation.
September 20, (Missouri): Two policemen call 911 to report an array of six to eight different types of UFOs. One man reports that his car was picked up by one of the craft. The Missouri state 911 director goes outside also and sees the display of lighted UFOs, including these types: the "sports model," a cigar- shaped craft; a wedge shape; a football-shaped object which turned blood-red; a flying disc projecting a green beam toward the ground and an "Adamski" type (three spherical appendages below a flattened bell-shaped hull).
The next day, Salinas, Kan.: Two police officers in a light plane spot an array of UFOs and shoot camcorder footage of them.
The following day, Radmond, Wash., (a suburb of Seattle): Two women, one of them a professional astronomer, see an array of craft with pulsating red lights.
And 'way back" on June 11, at CIA headquarters at Langley, Va.: A UFO is seen hovering over the building as reported in the local McLean newspaper and the Washington Post. It shone a bright light down on the building, then drifted north toward Great Falls, Va., home of Ron Pandolphi, who manages the CIA's "UFO (or "weird") desk." Could the ET pilot have been saying, "Time's up?"
