Hallo!. Good gracious!, it's another astounding release from CTP!. I'M BACK, AND I'M TRYING TO BE BETTER!. Yes, well, that's a novel way to introduce yet another slice of the action from CTP isn't it?. Or is it?, OR is it? OR IS it?, OR IS IT?!?!. (As you can tell I have been re-reading past issues of Amiga Power!). The 3D pictures that make up this month's contribution to the CD have a story behind them, and it goes like this: The USS Ferdinand has been sent on a mission to explore a sector of space approx. 15 light years away from the Federation's farthest colony. On Stardate 5380.1 they pass the USS Calder (Picture lethefed), which is a sentry defence ship patrolling the outer colonies of the Federation. The USS Ferdinand passes such a colony on Stardate 5380.7 (Picture P.T.L.F.O.) All goes well until the USS Ferdinand is ambushed by 3 Klingon Birds of Prey (Stardate 5381.2). After a grueling battle the USS Ferdinnad manages to destroy 2 Birds of Prey, but sustains heavy damage. The third Bird of Prey announces that it is going to board the Uss Ferdinand. The commanding officer commences the auto-destruct sequence to destroy both ships. (Picture Encounter) The auto-destruct sequence fails, but (by a curious twist of fate) the ship is sent forward approx. 50 years and appears in a now heavily populated area of space and is intercepted by the USS Yamato (Picture Y.A.S.A.) and is taken to a nearby Starbase and de-commisioned. Like the story?. The images were created on my computer (see previous releases for system setup) using Imagine 4.0 and the icons were added by PPaint 6.4 after being converted to 640*512 resoulotion (Pal Hi-res). Why? I hear you ask!. The reason is that I HATE 640*480 or any other screen set-up appart from my own as I have to add command to Viewtek!. The images are: 1) CTP Presents .... - The usual intro screen! 2) Lethefed - Left the Federation's space 3) P.T.L.F.O. - Past the last Federation outpost 4) Encounter - Encounter with the KLINGONS! 5) Y.A.S.A. - Yet Another Sub-space Anomoly! I hope you enjoy them! -STOP PRESS- A late addition has been made made to this month's contribution: 6) Men In Black - A take on the highly entertaing film's title! It was NOT rendered by Imagine 4.0, it was drawn by me with PPaint 6.4. The reason the guy has no bodily features is that I CANNOT DRAW! (as you can probably tell!). Anyway enjoy the late addition and keep buying AF!. -RESTART PRESS- --------XTREMELY LAST MINUTE ITEM------------- Well so far I'm doing well eh?. Not only has this release been a mish-mash of pictures and stories but I have YET ANOTHER late picture to add. Well, actually there are two, but..... who cares?. The images are in the BABYLON TREK drawer and they are : 7) BabyST1 8) BabyST2 9) MINIinfo There is a basic story, but it involves an inter-dimensional rift, so you can propably make one up for yourself. There was meant to be a "BabyST3" picture where the Federation craft chases the fighters, but it didn't turn out quite as I had hoped!. Ahh well. The "MINIinfo" file is much like the main graphical introduction screen, but it was created especially for the two files present in this drawer. Back to business.
