MAGIC NUMBERS
                   ---------------

  Ask a friend to think of a number between 1 and 63.

  You then give her/him, the magic cards and ask them to 
  give you back only the cards that have their number on 
  it.

  You will now be able to tell them exactly what their number 
  is.

  How?

  First you will need to make the magic cards. This is easily 
  done by cutting six peices out of a peice of cardboard.
  All the same size. 

  You can spruce them up by painting them black. Make them
  jazzy enough and you can give yourself a Blue Peter Badge!
  Whooopeeee!

  Click on the diagram button and copy the numbers onto the 
  six cards exactly as they are shown.

  Back to the trick, when your friend gives you the cards 
  with their number on it, all you have to do is add up the 
  top left number on all the cards.

  The total of these nubers will be the nuber they are 
  thinking off.

  Try, though, not to make it look too obvious that you are 
  adding the numbers up.

  What if they only give you one card back with their number 
  on it?

  The number they are thinking of is in the top left corner.
