MATCHSTICK PUZZLERS --------------------- While these two puzzles are not particularly magic, you will find that you can have some fun with them. Also, they are very easy to do close up, sat at a table with your friends. Ask an adult, if necessary, for nineteen matches. Then arrange four of them as shown in the diagram no 1. 1: First of all ask your friend/s to try and move one match only, from the first puzzle and make a square. A very difficult teaser if they do not already know it. 2: For puzzle two, set the other fourteen matches as in the Diagram no 2 and tell your friend/s that the matches represent a church. Each sunday a little girl goes to this church without fail for Sunday service. Ask them to move five of the matches and tell you the little girl's name and how old she is. Click Diagram button for the diagram and then click on the diagram itself to reveal answer. Then on the diagram itself again, to return to text. REMEMBER! Playing with matches can cause fires which can easily kill! Please be careful or use spent/dud matches. Matchstick puzzlers ---------------------
