THE FOUR CARD GUESS
                 ---------------------

   This particular trick is one of my personal favourites 
   and never fails to boggle the people I show.

   For this trick you need a stooge who is in on the trick 
   with you.

   You ask a group of friends to draw any four cards from 
   the deck and place them face up...or even face down on a 
   flat surface in a line. 

   Next you are going to go out of the room and somebody has 
   to touch one of the cards.

   Your "friend" will tell you to come back into the room and 
   you will go straight to where the cards are and tell them
   which one they touched.

   How?

   It is all in the way you are told to come into the room.

   Always start from left to right with the cards. 

   Left card = right - 1 word, 1st card.
   Next card = come in - 2 words, 2nd card.
   Next card = come in now - 3 words 3rd card.
   Right card = right come in now - 4 words, last card.

   Some tricks can not be done too often because people will 
   suss it out but in my experience this one you can do a 
   good many times. Learn new ways/words.

   Each time you do it make the group think they are in 
   control by allowing them to change the four cards or 
   turning face up, some face down.

   You can even allow them to exchange the the cards for four 
   objects in the room.

   Another thing you can do is add another card/object to the 
   list. When your friend/stooge is telling you to come in
   if the fifth card is the one chosen, use five words.

   Eg: Right, come in now Peter.
       Okay, come in now Jane.
