The faces were originally sketched on paper then scanned into Amiga using a Powerscan
mono handscanner and "painted" using PhotogenicsSE. The Ham8 renderings are courtesy of
ImageFX 1.5 and the 256 colour NewIcons were produced by PPaint 7. All on a 10MB A1200
with Blizzard MKIV 030 Accelerator (oh and one of those sexy black Amiga mice).

BATTERED : Originally just a yellow character with a big conk - it got a black eye and a
nose bleed when I got bored.

HYBRID : On paper it was just a *fairly* ordinary face, but I messed up one of the eyes
in Photogenics. I blacked it out intending to redraw it and decided I liked the effect,
as it seemed to look a bit like one of those grey aliens that everybody has seen or been
abducted by except me. So it became "HYBRID".

METALHEAD : Can't for the life of me think of anything to say about this one (and I've
sat here twenty minutes). Sorry.

SHADOWFACE : Not quite finished, but it goes well with the others so I sent it anyway.
