Rules

Please note that the rules assume you to be familiar with Oliver Robert's F1GP Editor V3.x, because this tool provides all the patches currently relevant and the accompanying terminology. Refer to either Aminet (game/misc) or Oliver's F1GP Web Site for your copy.

General Rules

'Options' allow for deviations from these standards. Players should always send in the options they used.

To prevent slipstreaming you should use version 3.14, or above, of F1GP-Ed to select only one team. By doing so, only your car will get on the track. If you decide to leave things as they are, you are simply not allowed to send in any times you set with slipstreaming.

Also, setting your records by saving the game before each corner and perfecting that section is not allowed. Although it's a very efficient method, you must set your records in one go. If you want to see where you went wrong, use Splittime by Rene Smit, or AGPPerf by Grant Reeve. Saving just before finishing your warmup lap is allowed, however.

F1GP-ED RULES

To save space, I will only describe what is either not to be used/altered or what must be used.
