CPU Load Scale Val |
In a multitasking system, more than one task can be waiting to use the CPU
at any given moment. The average number of tasks waiting to use the CPU
is the load average of the system. This number is the "Full Scale Value" for the meter in units of LOAD/100. That is, if on average there is 1 task in the run queue, that is a value of 100. If on average 2 tasks are waiting to use the CPU, that is a value of 200, and so on. If the actual CPU load goes over the scale value set here, then the meter is redrawn with another horizontal rule added. For more information, see the Global Meter Info section. |
CPU Free Scale Val | This is scale value for the percentage of the time the CPU is idle. The CPU free value will never go over 100, since the CPU cannot be idle more than 100% of the time. |
Fixed Scale | If set, the number of scale bars on the meter is fixed. |
Max Scale | The maximum scale value displayed by the meter. Larger values will be clipped. |
X Points | The number of data points to display on the meter. |
Update Interval | The time interval between meter updates. |
Background Color | The color used to draw the meter background. |
Rule Color | The color used to draw the horizonal scale rule lines. |
CPU Load Color CPU Free Color |
The colors used to draw the meter data values. |
CPU Load Track CPU Free Track |
If checked, the data values for the indiciated item are plotted. Otherwise, they are ignored. |
