Back to MENU Selecting text -------------- Selecting text is a procedure by which a continous portion of text may be marked out for operations such as cut and copy. Text is selected by moving the mouse pointer to the location where the desired text selection starts. The left mouse button is depressed and the mouse moved (with the button still depressed) to where the selection terminates. The button is then released. During selection, the mouse pointer should change shape. Once the text has been selected the mouse pointer changes back to it's original shape.
