Back to MENU Back to ADVANCED uses of AWebEd Documentation ------------- The documentation consists of ASCII files stored in the directory "helpdocs". When a word is clicked on, either in the command lists, or in the help window, AWebEd looks in "helpdocs" for a file with the same name. If it finds it, it displays it in the help window. The convention for links is to have them in upper-case to draw attention to them. It is therefore very simple to alter the documentation and add your own to accompany your custom AMAL commands. Use a text editor such as Ed or AWebEd to generate the text, and save it to the helpdocs directory. It is important to remember to keep "link" words between documents seperated by spaces on either sides - not by other punctuation marks. Otherwise, AWebEd will not recognise them.
