Well! I must first say that I am one of the select few that actually make and render their own objects, yes, all I made myself! I did them all on my A1200, 10Mb RAM, 40MHz 030 + 33MHz FPU +600Mb HD & 6xSpin PC IDE CDROM Drive (Which I got for 25 quid! HA!) and had to butcher my A1200 to make it all work! So! all were done in the excellent Imagine4.0, (with a bit of help from ImageFX and PPaint) but I'm trying to learn Real3D (From AFCD1) and it is impossible. Note: all the brushmaps I drew myself with PPaint, since I have no real access to a scanner. To get a rough idea of just how long rendering takes, I modelled my house in Real3D and it only took 34 Hours to render - gee. The Truck object is 800k, and one rather detailed scene I was modelling, involving the truck, an amiga powerbrick, (surprisingly highly detailed!) both sitting on my amplifier, took 14 hours to generate a mere few lines!! Yes, unlike those who have their 040s & 060s, rendering times for me literally shoot through the ceiling. Oh, by the way, I just thought I'd include the Goshawk Imagine Object with all the Brushmaps, just for the hell of it - feel free to use it in any scene, so long as my name goes where it goes. Also, the brushmaps will need to be assigned to "Wraps/Goshawk" to work.
