Amiga Flame - News - Games From Aurora Works

(*)Games From Aurora Works(*)

Aurora Works are a new Amiga games company based in Canada. They'll be bringing us some top quality games in 1997.

(Zone99_Graphic) There first game will hopefully be released in March 97 and will be called Zone 99. They are currently thinking of adding TCP/IP support so it could be played over the Internet.

Another good game set for release in October 97 is called Betrayed. This game is a mix between Fashback and the Ultima Series and is a adventure. The game has seven sections or chapters each with anywhere from one to four physical levels. The scrolling display is 416x416 (on a 640x480 screen) and on some levels, there are 19 screens across and 19 screens down. Imagine the size of the data when one section or chapter can have three to four levels. Betrayed will only be released on CD-Rom.

Aurora Works has got other games planned but I'll tell you more later. At the moment their resources are small but as they grow and bring more artists, beta-testers, and programmers together then they be bringing us even more.

Aurora Works will be hopefully publishing their games by theirselves but they have said that they may get a publisher.
