So I thought of a program, like the Web Browsers, that can be interactive on a CD, such as The Amiga Format CD. Then after a bit of poking and proding AmosWEB was delivered, a bouncing baby browser... The author takes no responsibility for the use or misuse of AmosWEB, USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK! @endnode @node Install "Installation..." @{b}Installation:@{ub} The installation of AmosWEB is very simple: Drag the main drawer ( AmosWEB ) to where ever you like, thats it. @endnode @node Usage "How to use AmosWEB..." Once you have run AmosWEB, you will be faced with a simple Interface. Starting from left to right : Printer Button. ( to print a document ) Page up. ( to read a page at a time ) Line up. (to read a line at a time ) Quit. ( to leave AmosWEB ) Load a AmosWEB.AW file. ( to load in either a question or an answer to read ) It's easy or so he say's... There are four small files that have been included with this software: In the Questions drawer - From_CS_To_All_2256.AW and From_M_To_All_1345.AW In the Answers drawer - To_CS_From_RC_2145.AW and To_M_From_C_1430.AW Now let me explain how it works, if you've got a problem that you would like answering then with a text editer such as Finalwriter enter your name at the top of your letter, be it your full name or a nick name of your choice now enter your subject then your problem. If it is an answer that you are giving then start your letter with whom it is directed to, followed by the suject and then the answer and at the bottom of your letter your name. EG: To go into the Questions drawer:From_DJF_To_All_1432.AW Save AS- From_Your Initials_To_Everyone_Time and you must enter.AW to the end. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name David J Foster Subject: Looping followed by the question. Then save your file as described above. And if it is an Answer then it goes like this. EG: To go into the Answers drawer:To_DJF_To_JJ_2245.AW Save AS- To_There Initials_From_Your_Time and you must enter.AW to the end. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To David J Foster Subject Looping here enter your answer to david and finish off with your name. From JJ. Bye... Check out the four files that are included, start with opening a Question file then when you have read that go to the Answers drawer and select the corresponding Answer. EG: If the file that you just loaded was a question under the name of From_HDS_To_All_1642.AW Then you would need to look for an answer under the name of T0_HDS_From_SJ_1934.AW The .AW at the end of the files is very important, so DO NOT forget to include it. Include the Time as this makes the file that much more harder to clash with, if the same names are used. When you've created your text file file then Full Format a Disk and Name it either Question or Answer depending on what it is that you are sending in and on the front of your envelope or package wright AmosWEB - Question or AmosWEB - Answer. If you are sending in a Question or Answer, then send it in to Amiga Format 30 Monmouth St, Bath, Avon BA1 2BW . Sorry but disks can not be sent back. Then it's a case of just sitting back and waiting for a replie on forthcoming Amiga Format Cd's.
