Rumours are rife that Viscorp do not have the required capital to carry
through the deal and are pulling out. A number of personnel have resigned
from Viscorp over the handling of the Amiga deal.

A Canadian company called QuickPak are rumoured to be preparing a bid
for Amiga Technologies.

Viscorp is out of the running as far as anyone can tell.
QuickPak and THREE other unknown companies are rumoured to have entered
bids for the Amiga. The closing date for these bids was late Feb 1997.
We wait with bated breath for the results.

April 1st 1997

Gateway 2000, a multi billion £ PC corporation have reputably bought the
Amiga outight. The new company will be called Amiga International and
will operate seperately from Gateway 2000. April Fools joke?
