BESCHREIBUNG

Dies ist die Demo-Version des EZPagers 1.8.

Der EZPager ermöglicht es, auf einfache Weise Nachrichten vom Computer aus an
verschiedene Funkempfänger (Pager, SMS-fähige Mobilfunk-Telefone oder Handys)
zu verschicken.

Die Rufaussetzung erfolgt dabei über eine Modem-Verbindung mit dem jeweiligen
Zugang des Rufdienstanbieters, wird also über das Telefonnetz abgewickelt.
Unabhängig vom jeweiligen Funkempfänger bzw. Rufdienstanbieter können die
Nachrichten über eine einheitliche grafische Oberfläche komfortabel eingegeben,
verwaltet und verschickt werden.

Diese Demo-Version unterstützt die deutschen Pager-Rufdienste

   Quix, TeLMI, Scall, Skyper,

sowie die Mobilfunk-Telefon-SMS-Dienste

   D1-AlphaService, D2-Message, E-Plus SMS.

DESCRIPTION

This is the demo version of EZPager 1.8.

The EZPager lets you easily send paging messages from your computer to
cellular radio paging devices, commonly called pagers, and cellular phones
capable of receiving short messages.

The enclosed version of the EZPager only supports some german paging services
right now and thus probably will be of no use to users from abroad.
But stay tuned!  The upcomming versions may enable you to define your own
local paging services.
Nevertheless, this version is localized with the english locale so you can
look around a bit, and see by yourself what you can do with the EZPager.
And, well, if you happen to know someone in Germany who uses one of the
supported paging services - a lot of these services can be accessed from
outside Germany (but watch your phone costs ;-).

EZPager uses a modem to connect to the different paging services and to
deliver the paging messages, so it uses a standard phone line.
The messages can be entered, managed and sent through a graphical user
interface.

This demo version supports the german paging services

   Quix, TeLMI, Scall, Skyper,

as well as the german cellular phone services

   D1-AlphaService, D2-Message, E-Plus SMS.
