Dear Dan,
      Nice to see the recent Amiga format survey, most people own A1200s
with 6 Mb!! And 87% have hard disks, nice to see the average Amiga user is
no longer a 1Megabyte A500 single drive user although thats still the
rest of the computer worlds general impression of us all. Digitiser
on Channel 4 text recently had a letter from some arse (can I say that?)
which said people only compare the Amiga 500 to a Pentium because all
there is to find is an old A500.  Proves him wrong doesn't it?  And is
that Natalie for real?  Cheers for the bang on disk mag.

Yeah, nice to see Amiga users have been building their Amigas into really
credible beasts over the past few 'quiet' years.  And now we are ready to
get back on top with our new, more powerful Amigas.  They compare the
Pentium to an A500, I know why.  The Pentium PC is the top of the range PC,
compare it to a Power PC equipt A4000-Tower fully expanded, video toaster
cards, CD-ROMS and all the biz, they don't compare it to that because they
daren't! Cowardness, they know the Amiga will totally kick the PCs arse!
By the way, I hate it when people say "My pentium is cool", because the
pentium is just one small (rather crap) chip, not the computer.  As for
Natalie, is she for real?  Who knows, she's real as in, yeah she exists, and
yeah she's who she says she is.  But I still don't know if my sister has put
her up for it, for a laugh, or she does it to try and embarrass me or
something, but she's bloody convincing!  About the disk mag, we'll keep
it up.

just saw my first issue after the afcd preview, damn good it is as well
i just got a cd-rom drive some cool demos out there on cd roms from the
magazines. and how things have moved on from 5 years ago where we got one
880k disk and now we have mags giving away double cds containing over a gig
of data for under £6. Great disk, looking forward to the next issue, put
this in the letters bit if you get it, my Voyager mailing system is playing
up, so you might not. Say hello to Arnie Finen for me hes funny.  Why
does he only do the arse head bit and the odd review?  He needs more Bye Dan.

Demos are cool yeah.  CD-ROMS have made the Amiga into a much better
platform it is incredible compared to only a few years ago how much
things have moved on.  The thing about Arnie, is that every one who
works on this disk is a lovely, caring person, with good knowledge
of the Amiga and no personal hygene problems, with the exception
of Arnie, which is why he only gets the odd bit :) Haha, no, he
does his bits here and there, still a contributer when we need him.
