This is the work of the brother/sister team of Mel and Matt Ball This disk contains clip art from both myself and my sister Mel, scanned directly off drawing paper into an A1200 using my cheap and cheerful Datel Handyscanner. The scanner was mostly set to scan at 100dpi, because this is it's best setting in my experience. Few things scan well at 400dpi Sorry! This has slightly reduced the quality of our drawings, but that's nothing that can't be corrected with DPaint if you want to use the pictures in DTP work etc. We like them as they are. The pictures are simple black and white because the greyscale scans my Handyscanner produces are lined and poor quality. The contents of this and the second disk are as follows..... (1) NIGEL :- A program for those who find themselves in need of a wise quote.(Disk.2) (2) Fortune teller:- A program that predicts your fortune for the day.(Disk.2) (3) How to fit an A500 disk drive in an A1200(Disk.1) (4) Ways to fit and use a quad speed EIDE CD drive with an Amiga 1200 or 600 without having to spend lots of money on a tower or damaging the Amiga case.(Disk.1) (4a)The cheap CD-32 CD rom drive option.(Disk.1) (5) A sheet of music paper for printing from PageStream.(Disk.1) (6) A sheet of music paper prepared in IFF format.(Disk.1) (7) Several pieces of music,(MIDI notes only, no sound samples),done using the fantastic program called TigerCub. These files can best be played back through this program with your Amiga connected to a suitable MIDI keyboard such as the MindScape Miracle Keyboard. The keyboard must be set to play a piano sound.(Disk.1) (8) SIM KITTEN- say no more.(Disk.2) (9) Various clipart from Mat and Mel Ball (Both disks) SIM NIGEL and SIM KITTEN need to be run from a high resolution workbench, sorry TV monitor users! All programs will run straight from a floppy disk copy of the two disks. All programs were coded in Blitz BASIC 2.1 by Matt Ball.
