Hi all,

This drawer contains anims made in Lightwave using a new plug-in called
Surface Effectors. It's a brilliant tool that allows you to change colour
information across surfaces dynamically without needing to set up tedious
morph targets and can also be used for laying colour down on a surface across
the period of an animation, like the skidmarks example shown - no more
laborious anim overlays for creating handwriting effects!

We're not going to reveal all of Surface Effects secrets here and now.
Suffice to say, it's a complex program but we'll have a full review in our
100th issue.
