Upgrades and Cross-Grades:-

The current version of GPFax is 2.350. This version supports BOTH class 1 modems (including USR Sporster and Courier models) and most Class 2 modems (Maestro, Netcomm, DynaLink, SimpleModem, Supra and most Rockwell chipset based modems), and some Class 2.0 modems on the one disk. Modem types can be easily set from standard Amiga tooltypes.

Changes from 2.347 versions include fixes for USR class 1 timing problems with new 288 chipsets, fixes for 'leap year' bug, support for RTG such as Cybergraphics and some other minor changes for specific modem types including USR, Supra and ZyXel. The Class 2 version now optionally, supports the Class 2.0 fax standard with some limitations due to modem manufacturers implementation of the standards.

Older versions, including OEM versions bundled with Supra modems can be upgraded or cross-graded to the latest version by returning the original disk plus payment for US$30 (AUS$45) (No cheques please for small amounts , Visa/MasterCard preferred or US$cash ) to Dr Greg Perry at GPSoftware at the address below. Upgrade or cross-grade consists of new package including manual, disk and return air postage to anywhere in the world.

Upgrades from 2.347:-

Upgrades from the 2.347 version are free and patch files are now available. You MUST have an original 2.347 release disk for the upgrade patches to work. Patch patch files are available on AmiNet or may be download from this site.
